Melbourne continues to be a surprising genre, a many-headed monster that serves up a breadth of sounds with a distinct flare. Brooklyn Fire has brought it to our American shores, but the genre still holds strong (of course) in its Australian homeland. illucho. won't be a name your recognize just yet, but I found his work floating across my Soundcloud feed courtesy of another new face, YROR?. Not much is known about illucho.; in fact I can't find any other social links except for his streaming profile. However this remix of Danny Darko's "Time Will Tell" demonstrates a calmer side of Melbounre, stripped of the signature horn mid and containing a slower, modified bounce bass line. Playing up Jova Radevska's vocals, (who I thought was Ellie Goulding for a hot second), it's a soulful serenade that will have you pressing repeat.
