Upon providing multiple teasers from the project, Toronto rapper and one-half of 416-based hip hop duo, The Antiheroes, Flex The Antihero dropped his solo debut, SALEM. The work spans across 12 tracks, noting featured assistance from the likes of Allan Rayman, Emerson Brooks, Dillan Ponders, D-Sisive, ANTHM, Sha Prince, Armond, M Mac, Metcalfe, and BatmanOnTheBeatz. His style is aggressive and imaginative, and one that holds close to the Toronto sound that has done so well in the past number of years.
Flex speaks on everyday subjects ranging from achieving dreams to rough coming-of-age tales, ultimately reflecting his incredible passion and drive. It's a solid initial offering and one that should play out positively for both his solo and collaborative careers, no matter which one he looks to primarily focus on and/or further develop.
Standout tracks include "The Burbs", "Build And Destroy", "Medicated", "War", and "All I Knew". Stream the project below and download it here. Let us know what you all think.
