The soulful Joel Compass is returning to fans after his single "Run," a collaborative effort alongside Pusha T took the crossover R&B-pop scene by storm last Fall. The track was dubbed Zane Lowe's "Hottest Record in the World" on his BBC Radio 1 show and last night Compass's latest tune "Forgive Me," returned for the honor.
This time around the English singer/song writer/producer is getting sentimental with a break up jam ready for the masses. Beginning with a slow build, Compass's captivating voice hooks listeners before leading into piano chord and drum kick driven beat. Allowing his smooth vocals to take control, the rising star represents Black Butter Records with another R&B-inspired production powered by emotion.
