Jonas Rathsman puts his subtle touch on "I Got U"

If readers haven't caught on to my love affair with Duke Dumont, then another remixed rendition of "I Got U" should enlighten them to the versatility of his already flawless productions. A couple weeks back Tensnake gifted listeners with his version of the tropically-inspired production, transforming "I Got U" midway through into a garage-laced, bass plug-driven output.

No fellow rising house producer Jonas Rathsman is taking his turn at the track, proving the production can go in yet another direction. Coming to listeners from Göthenburg, Sweden, Rathsman has been bringing fans deep-leaning house outputs courtesy of French Express, for about two years. Gaining some serious recognition with his original production "Feel What I Feel," Rathsman has proven his ability to craft subtle yet pulsating basslines, which is exactly what he does on his remix of "I Got U". Beginning with a slow-building intro, Rathsman gradually leads into a soothing bassline; incorporating twinkling piano chords, rumbling guitar riffs and even a little maraca to create a rhythmic output oozing with the original beachy feeling Dumont intended.
