A follow up to his "Adventures in Suburbia" released first thing this year, Liverpool's Joe Garston returns to Mord Fustang's Plasmapool imprint to release his latest single. In line with the label's as well as his own tech and synth driven electro house style, "Bogus Journey" is an exemplification of Garston's style that makes his work different. Many successful tech electro acts (deadmau5 being one of them) take a melancholic approach to music, but Garston's production voice is one that's cheerful and energetic. "Bogus Journey" is capricious sounding in a good way, undoubtedly serving as figurative beam of sunshine into this Monday afternoon.
