Jersey City label Green Village remixes Rebecca Brandt in 'Numbers & Shapes: Revisited'

Established in 2009, Green Villain operated as a haven for street artists and like-minded urban anarchists. It was a place to collaborate, listen, and share your hunger for creativity with others. Late last year, they transformed the warehouse party atmosphere into a full-fledged label, Green Village, on the premise of mutual respect and local love—the 1º, the inner circle of those you trust most. Today, they release their first feature collaboration with Brooklyn-based composer, Rebecca Brandt.

Brandt released Numbers & Shapes in 2012 where it reached top 25 for “Best New-Age Album” at the Grammy’s in 2013. Later that same year, Green Village recruited several big name and local musicians to add their own bit of flavor to the electroacoustic contemporary-based foundation of the album. As a token of their appreciation for the continuing support of their musical ideals, GV and Brandt have released the ambient drum 'n' bass Liondub remix of "Staying Silent" free of charge. Incorporating the uplifting low-key melody of the original, Liondub converted "Staying Silent" into a liquid dnb dream state with a middle eastern disposition likened to that of Klute and Seba.
