A Quick Word from the Authors:
March 1st, wow… doesn't it just feel like the year is flying by? Next thing you know festival season will be in full swing however before we start dreaming of warm summer days let the Sabbath take you on a trip through the past week or so of hand-picked indie news and tunes.
In case you missed it Bombay Bicycle Club (coming off of the release of their solid new album) decided to cover Disclosure's "F For You" for BBC's Live Lounge, apparently trying to bank off of the success of 2013's Settle with a groovy interpretation. Also, the iconic trip-hop artists Portishead are set to begin recording their fourth studio album, following up on 2008's to-the-point album Third. In other news it seems that Lana Del Ray is working with The Black Key's frontman Dan Auerbach on her new album entitled Ultraviolence. Lastly, with the release of Pharrell's highly-anticipated new album G I R L (streaming now on iTunes Radio) be sure to take a listen to his collaboration with Daft Punk here.

The Pasture
Drawing from hushed textures the intersection between folk and translucent melodies can surprisingly be seamlessly navigated. So kick back, chill out or fall asleep – but be sure to stream the easy-going tracks below for the epitome of mellow. Highlights include We Were Evergreen with their bouncy yet equally subtle and funky bopper "Daughters" and an slow jam, trap-inspired song "There is Nowhere" by BLACKBIRD BLACKBIRD.
