Both Editors and Matthew Dear don't really have much to prove at this point. With their long careers, constant hits and successes, the UK band and the Texas born musician are on the receiving end of constant praises from fans and critics alike.

While Matthew Dear seems to be devoting the early part of his year touring as his dance-based alter ego Audion, this hasn't stopped him from releasing a synth-laden remix of Editors's "Sugar." The artist brings forth a sense of urgency as the words "It hurts so much to love you." While the original stuck to the traditional underground alternative rock sound, the new remix features Matthew Dear's brilliant electronic touch, adding a dynamic beyond what traditional instruments can provide.

Overall, this is yet again another stunning piece of work from Dear, and while Editors is amazing as well, this is a remix that adds the perfect electronic touch. Check out the original track, as well as the remix below!
