Luca Lozano has had a great year releasing an album and driving his label to greatness with releases from the likes of Fjaak and Paolo Rocco. Now, the up and comer originally from London graces the public with an EP from Disc Over Music that ranges from soothing melodic deep house vibes to beat skipping kick drum techno. This sort of diversity of sound off of one release is really refreshing these days. Of course we can owe that diversification to collaborator Mr. Ho and remixer Tim Green as well as Luca Lozano himself. All three artists bring something special to the record and each track really has its own sound and originality. Tim Green spices up the release with a remix of “Dobb Meep,” a track that came from the collaborative effort of Lozano and Mr. Ho. Green’s unique combination of experimental stereo ambiance and techy synths and percussion really make this EP well rounded and interesting. Check it out!
