Since mixing the short but powerful "Goth Dad Tape" and a remix for Fortune Howl that lasts almost just as long, Seanny Georgie b.k.a. No Eyes has a lot planned for his future. In March he'll be performing in New York as well as Austin for SXSW, for most of April he'll be in Europe, and somewhere in between he plans to release his debut album "//:(.com" on AMDISCS. While these pixel-laced beats will keep the ears busy for a while, Seanny plans to release a new EP later on in the year which includes his newest track.
"(Rain)" is a six minute digital adventure into various high motion club and juke syncopation, while maintaining a similar feel throughout. That feel revolves around an 8-bit synth moving within an ambient vocal that sounds like it's echoing over miles of the Grand Canyon. Throw all this under skittering but precise drum-machine percussion and out comes a song that is variable enough to keep attention sharp for its length but still remains within the same realm.
