Ceiling Demon's style has continued to impress since I've first heard them, although I'm not entirely sure what the genre is or how to begin to describe it. They've come out with the visual accompaniment for their track "Someone Great" which combines the sadness and loneliness that an alternative group like The Neighbourhood evoke, while maintaining one hand dipped in the rhyme and flow of hip hop.
They're certainly not a style that is abundant in my neck of the woods, but their drugged out and slow style parallels nicely with the sounds of the south (strangely), and it's fascinating how their drastically UK sound appeals to me in California. "Someone Great" is a bit weird, but it's worth the multiple listens. The visuals are simple, but the desolate scenes of a late night, combined with their weird look, they've got a style that's worth keeping an eye out for.
