Standing as one of the premiere labels in the electronic industry, Vicious Recordings has a knack for uncovering hidden gems that polish into bright diamonds. The Australian imprint began 21 years ago, and has since brought us Avicii, Dirty South, Angger Dimas, and so many more. To celebrate such a milestone, Vicious has decided to release a two-disc compilation album, featuring 21 famous originals and 21 brand new exclusive remixes. 21 Years Of Vicious drops on Beatport March 3rd, then March 21st on all other online retailers.
From the forthcoming compilation, we have Sgt Slick's remix of NAPT and Peo De Pitte's "Gonna Be Mine". Emphasizing the original's solid house roots, the Australian producer creates a laid back rework, chock-full of piano and hi-hat. Of course the classic vocals touch a soft spot in any enthusiast's heart, and I can only imagine how a crowd would react when this is dropped. Keep an eye on the blogosphere for more hits off 21 Years Of Vicious.
