Let’s be frank. No work gets done on Fridays. Especially a Friday that also happens to be a holiday. But a lot of great music streaming does. And today is no exception as we’ve got “If I” – the second offering from UK songstress Blooms – on repeat.
Blooms is like a more blasé BANKS and the track is a beautiful arrangement of fluttering harpsichord, burgeoning steady synth and pacey percussion. Allegedly, her forthcoming EP If “details a relationship from beginning to end – from lust to love to letting go.” We’re suckers for musical storytelling, so can’t wait to pluck this production of a page-turner.
