UK based songstress Kenzie May, the woman with a voice that blends the gentleness of a whisper with the power of unfettered passion, recently released her latest single "Skeleton Key." The R&B and alternative pop fusion track weaves together different threads of clashing emotions ranging from sorrow and frustration to anger and confusion. As May attempts to recover from the exhaustion of sorting out the details of a misunderstood or possibly unrequited love, she sheds light on her vulnerability. Singing "I am all yours from the collarbone down…" May highlights her willingness to free her heart but hesitance in allowing her mind follow suit. The production on this track is also superb as the percussion and acoustic chords complement the airy background vocals beautifully.
Although little is known about her plans for the future, Kenzie May has hinted at the possibility of releasing another project this year. We're definitely looking forward to whatever's next.
