I personally don't know too much about Adaku, but from her voice, her vibes, and the all out funk-soul style this fantastic singer is pushing out, I'm about to go scrounging for information about her ASAP.
"Ghosts" follows her reluctance to going back to her past relationship, and resonates with people young and old alike. Starting off slow and somber, the alternative soul singer beautifully evokes pain and lets this go on for a majority of the song before letting the bass kick in. It's rather brilliant in it's parallels to any failed relationship. The back and forth post-break-up should remind nearly everyone of those moments in life where a past partner is a bit of a ghost in our life.
"Ghosts" is a stunning track featuring stunning vocals and fun, clever production (provided by Paul Boanton) that brilliantly captures the world of relationships in our ever-complex world.
