A woman's ability to hypnotize men has been a story told for ages. Odysseus was entranced by the song of the Sirens, David was love-drunk by Bathsheba, and Romeo was hopelessly bumbling after Juliet. Women have a magic power over men initially – throw in a woman who can sing a note or two and dammit if the whole male race isn’t overcome with hysteria (i.e the Dancing Plague of 1518 ) Rising female artist Lucia has that smooth voice that causes men to wiggle and writhe about in desire for the lowtemp decibels. Her song “Days” was already a nugget of perfection but what occurred to the track next was sheer lunacy. Austria producer Paul Gilmore takes the already captivating track, slows it down, throws some beautiful instrumentation and reworks the structure slightly to produce a beautiful song bursting with elegance. On a scale of Knowshon Moreno to Jackson crying to “A Great Big World,” this remix has got us feeling feels on a Gwyneth Paltrow at the Oscars level. Check it out for yourself!
