Tel Aviv based producer Yarin Lidor has captured our attention with this chilling remix of British vocalist Charlotte OC's single "Colour My Heart." Lidor highlights the best features of this track from the angelic vocals of Charlotte OC to the original's gentler bassline, and effectively levels it up from enchanting to addicting. "Colour My Heart" embodies a more alternative R&B sound as Charlotte OC's voice screams out emotion amidst the gentle percussion, shivering tambourine and piano chords, but Yarin Lidor introduces some of what we love about the more hard hitting features of electronic music.
Lidor morphs the slow, solemn atmosphere of the original into a bass-heavy, fast tempo track that still flawlessly embraces the melancholic lyrics and the collaborative percussion that beautifully mold into a chilling quasi-electronic-indie sensation.
