Pop singer/songwriter and L.A. native Zak Waters has our hearts in a puddle once again with his latest single “Over You”. On the heels of his overture to his hottie babysitter "Penelope", Waters is back to take us on another sentimental ride, this time exploring a relatable situation that usually bubbles up after a breakup:
“Found somebody sneaking out of my bedroom door
Picking all our clothes up off my bedroom floor
A temporary fix from what I can’t ignore
She’s just a new high so I can fly over you”

The official video, also being released today, provides a unique view of this situation by showing a women’s relationship at various stages with an original lover that transitions, within the same frames, to a new man. The video provides an interesting portrayal of the struggle to deal with residual relationship feelings and the attempts to move past them.

While Waters’ style is usually on the lighter feel-good side, his honest deep dive into a difficult and confusing time is refreshing. And Water’s confidence, soul & killer vocals will certainly help him soar over seas as he prepares for his tour with Betty Who (RCA Records) from March 22nd to April 19th in Canada and USA. Visit his Facebook to find out more and share this post for the chance to win an autographed t-shirt & merchandise pack! "Over You" is now available for purchase via iTunes & Spotify.
