Nottingham soul songstress Harleighblu returns today with a new video for "Let Me Be", the extra saucy single from her debut album Forget Me Not which arrived last year via the independent UK label Tru Thoughts. Known for her mesmeric classic soul voice and her strikingly lush, edgy and charismatic delivery, Harleighblu is a shining star on the rise.

“Let Me Be” starts off slow as Harleighblu croons “ don't like it, the power you have over me. You… should just let me be,” over a smooth and seductive piano melody. Once the pace picks up her voice hits and demands your attention. Just as the lyrics ask for a way to escape the woes of a hopeless love, Harleighblu will have you escaping through her heartfelt vocals and rare grooves.
