One of my favourite sleeper tracks of 2013 had to be "Can You Feel It" by Swedish duo Lunde Bros. As a staple in a chunk of Fedde Le Grand Sensation sets, it features peaks and valleys of tech and funk, serving up the perfect warm-up vibes for a big room. Since then, the track has seen support from the likes of Mat Zo, Nicky Romero, and John Dahlback, all of whom are no strangers to playing out Toolroom Records tracks.
For their first release of the new year, the two brothers hit up Fedde's label imprint Flamingo Recordings to give us "Slapper", a beautifully-produced combo of funky basslines and tribal style drums. Again, the track carries the punch to sing on the main stage, yet without the over the top drops of most progressive. For DJs looking to step away from the jumping fury of big crowds and add some bouncy groove back into their sets, "Slapper" is a no-brainer, and with the big week in Miami just a couple months away, look for the Lunde Bros tracks to get some serious airtime.
