Tomas Barfod – "Pulsing" (Feat. Nina K)

Tomas Barfod, multi-instrumentalist and drummer of Danish electronic pop band WhoMadeWho, is back with the follow up release to his 2012 solo debut Salton Sea. "Pulsing" comes as the first single ahead of the EP of the same name.

Barfod worked with a variety of guests on his debut album, including Swedish singer Nina K, who also goes by Nina Kinert. Like she did on "November Skies" and "Till We Die", Nina K contributes beautifully delicate vocals that are perfectly juxtaposed with Barfod's brooding production. Chimes also add to the whimsical air of Kinert's voice, but the dark sea of synths underneath truly live up to the title of the track.

The four-track Pulsing EP is expected to drop on February 18th via his new label Secretly Canadian. Also look for Tomas Barfod's forthcoming full length later this spring.
