Last month, Los Angeles producer Dillon Francis teamed up with British producer Orlando Higginbottom, known as Totally Enormous Extinct Dinosaurs or TEED, for their collaborative track “Without You”. The track finds the perfect balance between the heavy club energy of Dillon Francis and TEED’s shimmering, spacey production.
Mad Decent released the official EP, which includes a variety of remixes from Doctor P, Flux Pavilion, Treasure Fingers, Henry Fong, Torro Torro, Hayden James, and Low Steppa. Now, New York duo Chordashian is getting their remix out there and it’s being given away as a free download.
The duo usually opts for sundrenched tropical vibes, but lately they’ve been leaning in a clubbier direction. This remix is probably their clubbiest effort to date, and they nailed it! I’ll even venture to say that this is the best “Without You” remix out there. As soon as the track opens, TEED’s voice carries you along until the track breaks into a serious dancing frenzy. Jazzy hi-hats, a whirlwind of synths, and a deep, groovy bassline make this ideal for dancing off those breakup woes.
