Timothy Monkiewicz and Thomas Murphy, are the men who make up the incredible duo The Golden Pony. The Brooklyn boys have been stirring up Soundcloud in 2013 with their nu-disco, deep house sounds, while conquering unique remixes and giving us their first original "Tiny Purple Fishes". You can tell the pair is quite eccentric by their artwork and photography, and it all comes full circle in the music they produce. You can't help but feel like their spin on sound is like an 80's rejuvenation, waiting only for the coolest of dance parties. While Thomas is backed by his studies in classical music, Timothy grew up playing grunge guitar, ultimately developing into two wondrous styles that seamlessly complement each other.
Today we present their second original "Bonfire" featuring Suntalk, another New Yorker with the same type of style. This track hsd s high pitched melody with much more housey vibes than their other works. It's a good party starter and could serve as an after party special, displaying The Golden Pony's ability to work tracks in and out of neutrality.
