Today EARMILK has the pleasure of bringing light upon another artist from Duzz Down Dan Records. At just 19 years old and based out of Austria, Karma Art has been making a significant online stir for himself. With his unique sound compositions and distinctly organic noises, one often is left with the nostalgic feeling of an old Animal Collective. Yet the young musician does not feel constrained by genres and though some might find his music experimental, others electronic, he feels it is completely up to your own subjective interpretation.
The track we are premiering is the first official listen of "Bloom". What starts dreamy and light structured quickly turns into a heavy hitting bass mixed with distorted vocals. One of the most interesting features of "Bloom" is the nearly two minute gap between the two separate sides of the track. What feels like a break or pause of the track originally left me confused when all of a sudden it comes back to life in an uptempo finish. You can grab a free download of the track below.
Karma Art also seems to keep fairly active with his Youtube page posting self made music videos to several of his songs. If you still keep up to date with this social site then his Youtube page should spark some interest. Additionally Duzz Down San posted a teaser video for Karma Art's upcoming EP, Bloom. You can expect to see the new EP on January, 20th.
