Mitch and Robert Starling, who make up the production/DJ duo of Krimslo, have been operating under the guise of 'RARE.' for most of the past year, but once they realized the commonality of the name, they switched it up to something a little more unique upon dropping their excellent edit of Sevyn Streeter's "It Won't Stop". Since releasing their first EP in May, several other remixes, a few one-off tracks, and a split EP with New York's Ostor on Zip Sound Recordings, the duo has already reached five hundred followers on Soundcloud, prompting them to release "Feels XP" as a sense of appreciation for their listeners.
Much like their other tunes, this tactical track begins with a vocal sample filtering its way to the surface while gliding around what sounds like the glittering shine of diamonds. The rest of the vibe revolves around the same vocal evolving and moving within a percussionally diverse club beat with heavy 808 bass underneath as stabbing chords pulsate with further rhythmic complexion. As long as Krimslo keeps releasing music at the level of "Feels XP", we'll be as appreciative of them as they are of us.
