The Australian duo Parachute Youth were pretty quiet throughout 2013, but plan to start 2014 with some momentum as they prepare to unveil their latest single "Runaway" in January. Partners, Mathew KVon and Johnny Castro have already teased fans with a music video to the dance-oriented emotionally-driven "Runaway," and now they are revealing remixes to their biggest release to-date, ahead of the official release on the Australian-based Sweat It Out.
MAO's rework is the first remix to be revealed from the forthcoming "Runaway" remix package and the UK-hailing production duo completely transform the poppy sing-along. Reconstructing the track into an instrumentally-driven production, MAO scales back the vocals and delivers a precise technical output with a sprawling soundscape. Known remixing the likes of Zebra Kats and The Bloody Beatroots, the production pair have proven over the past two years that their unique style can not be pinned down. Recently releasing their EP No Love, the purposefully-unknown partners continue to gain traction before the release of their self-titled debut album, expected out early 2014.
