Amsterdam producer and BMKLTSH RCRDS label head Mike Mago has been cranking out some powerhouse tunes, and this remix for Charlie XCX is right at the top. He did a stunning remix for Laura Welsh’s “Undiscovered” a few months back and his track “The Show” deserves a mention as a top track for the year. Charli XCX also gets some claps for the year with her breakthrough album True Romance. She recently announced “SuperLove” as the lead single from her forthcoming album due out in 2014.
Mike Mago takes Charli XCX’s toxic “SuperLove” drug to a whole new level. I’m with her in that “S.O.S this is real and this is dangerous… I can’t get enough.” The chords, synths, bass, and everything about the production rides the melody so perfectly, chills are going up and down my spine.
