It's no secret that EARMILK is absolutely in love with UK duo Disclosure. Like the rest of the world, we knew that Settle was a masterpiece upon our first listen, and have revisited tracks from the album numerous times in the form of singles, remixes, edits, etc.. Now, the boys are gearing up to release their own remix album on December 16th, and for the second release they have chosen a gorgeous remix of "Latch" by Hip-Hop legend DJ Premier. Unsurprisingly, the remix is a wonderful take on the original, stripping away the house/garage rhythms to accentuate the ridiculously-soulful vocals of singer Sam Smith (who's actually on tour RIGHT NOW if you want to catch him live!). If you do nothing else today, make sure you listen to the song below.
