Shabu Recordings has began a new project in which they take older EP releases and breathe new life into them through remixes and a reshaping, so you will, of their previous outputs. These new rereleases are to be released under SHARMX, and their first output will be a compilation album SPLASH SPLASH VOL. 1.
Avus's "Staring Into One Eye" just happened to get one such treatment. This track is more of an edit of the original, rather than a drastic change, but it brings out a fresh new life into the original. The Italian duo, Margot, got their hands on it, and added a dimension that makes it "an inter-generational party." It's a simple edit that highlights a house-y dimension not there previously, which manages to create a fun feel, perfect for hump day.
The compilation album will be out on December 9th.
