Alex Bau has that classic hard techno vibe that makes you want to throw back a six pack and hit the clubs on an otherwise boring Tuesday evening. An artist who loves making progressive techno bangers with absolutely gut wrenching drops and grinding synths, Bau released RDE EP on Kombination Research, and it is sure to turn some heads.
The opening track, “Evergrey”, slowly builds into a huge instrumental breakdown before fading away. The second, “Resophal”, shows how dark and angry Bau’s music can be. The techno veteran has a knack for creating wide-open atmospheres and evil soundscapes in his tunes. The artist has been releasing originals and remixes on a variety of labels for over ten years and has definitely made his mark in the techno scene.
