It's been a while since we last heard from the UK four-piece Metronomy, whose last studio album, The English Riviera, earned them a Mercury Prize nomination in 2011. Two years down the line, Metronomy are back with a new single and promise of a fourth studio album. Debuted as Zane Lowe’s ‘Hottest Record In The World’ on his BBC Radio 1 show, "I'm Aquarius" is our first taste of the new LP Love Letters, which is slated for a 10th March 2014 release. Evolving away from the sunny, poolside anthems that sound-tracked the summer of 2011, "I'm Aquarius" is still unmistakably Metronomy but instead opts for a cocktail of lo-fi synths and clipped, nocturnal rhythms. Fittingly, the single is now available via an IOS and Android stargazing app called The Night Sky – providing you’re able to locate the Aquarius constellation!
