Los Angeles producer Saint has teamed up with Paris natives AGLORY to give us some of the most unique trapstyle music we have heard in a long time. With a fantastic application of Arabic and Moroccan influences, “Alhambra” and “Moroccan Candy” are two beautifully melodic and hard hitting trap records that you cannot pass up on.
“Alhambra” employs a number of different vocal samples with an on-point percussion of snares and hi-hats that perfectly complement the drop’s heavy bass that is impossible to not move your body to. This track builds in energy and no doubt solidifies itself as a complete trap monster once the second drop hits. “Moroccan Candy” makes just as huge of an impact with huge driving and melodic builds that climaxes with a violent in-your-face bass rounded out with well-chosen synths. It’s not common to find such quality and outside-the-box trap music, but Saint & AGLORY have delivered an amazing effort with their eastern-influenced Alhambra/Moroccan Candy EP.
