Fresh off his release of his hip-hop infused single "Hilarity Duff", HW&W producer Kaytranada is back with an all new remix for Common's 07' hit single, "I Want You". If you a fan of Kay, it comes as no surprise that the young beatmaker has a thing for mixing electronic elements with R&B/hip-hop roots, which makes for the ultimate mixture of cool vibes.
The original track off Common’s Finding Forever album, featured the smooth production touch of will.i.am and sampled classics from Minnie Riperton’s “Baby, This Love I Have” and Bob James “Feel Like Making Love”, which seems like the appropriate predecessor for Kaytranada to take and put his spin on. Utilizing the best of the past and mastering it with the finest of the future, Kay brings the timeless track back to life in an extra suave manner.
