EARMILK has been a major supporter of these two Montreal natives since their first release. Whether a milestone in their career or their popular remixes which constantly climb up the popular chart on Hype Machine, we've featured Leighton and Christian as they've progressed through it all. EARMILK is very excited to showcase Adventure Club's latest EP, Calling All Heroes.

The EP has four tracks featuring a range of sound from downtempo dub, trap, big house and their signature dubstep mixed with female vocals that we all fell in love with. The first track, "Gold", features Yuna, who they have worked with in the past on their remix of "Lullabies". The track starts slow and builds up smoothly, with fragmented vocals they start the EP with their own unique style.

The second track "Wonder" features The Kite String Tangle, a vocalist from Brisbane, Australia. It leans towards a soft and gentle side of Adventure Club, which won't hit you with bass but will rather hit you with a new affection for Danny Harley and his memorizing voice.

"Crash" is probably my favourite song on the album, it is a completely new side of Adventure Club. From the vocals to a repeating heavy beat, it shocks you down to the bone.

"Thunderclap" is the final track, which was put out previous to the album release. Following the common theme of big house tunes, I have to say I was mixed feelings on the song. Despite the fact that it does have a popular sounding structure, it does bring out a new side of Adventure Club that I'm interested to see where it ends. It seems this EP is proof that Adventure Club is trying new music and it's interesting to see what direction it will take them.
