My anticipation for every new Kaytranada drop is almost uncontainable, it's almost like the wait for Christmas right around the corner. This past week the Montreal native released the second single off the At All/Hilarity Duff EP through Huh What and Where (HW&W), proving the powerful impact Kay has acquired over the past couple months in the online music scene. The new track "Hilarity Duff" follows "At All", and not only catches our attention with it's quirky name, but mainly with its prominent synth hits, upfront and in you face. Kay throws yet another complex drum arrangement in the mix, showing off his unique style and ability to create a flawless R&B-crooning edit.

Our calls for more Kay continued to be answered, and we can't wait for more of the hypnotizing synth work the kid throws on his projects. Listening to this new EP has generated a sort of sophisticated feel to his take on electronic music. Check out the new single and the EP which includes a remix from Sango, and while you're at it scan the dates for Kaytranada’s “No Peer Pressure” tour, beginning in San Jose on October 18.
