House music producer Apollo Stripe from Northern Russia put out his third release of the year on October 6th 2013. This time on More Devotion, he blows us away with impressive sampling techniques and subtle influences of world music. The title draws you right in with its brilliant vocal chops surrounding a punchy kick that drops the low end in at the perfect time, every time. After it breaks once and continues to progress, the beat breaks again into an array of tribal chants before bringing the techy groove back in. This track is definitely the highlight of the release. The second, Deep Orchestra, doesn’t disappoint either. It features soothing sound design paired with classic techno percussion. This EP is definitely working its way into one of my sets and is guaranteed to make some fists pump.
