Not so long ago, we posted an A$AP Rocky cover that sent chills down my spine: the eerie-yet-soulful performance from U.K. artist Bipolar Sunshine. In preparation for the release of his upcoming Drowning Butterflies EP, the Manchester-born singer has released a track taken from that project, "Love More Worry Less".
The three-and-a-half-minute track has soft strings that set an uplifting mood for the song, accompanied by a sporadic beat that features deep kicks and echo-drenched snares. The vocals on this song are what makes it stand out from the rest of the current crop of music, with a passionate chorus that has some truly wonderful harmonies and a catchy melody.
If this track is anything to go by, then Drowning Butterflies could be one of the more underrated projects this year. The album is due out 8th November and you can pre-order the EP over on iTunes, where you can also pick up Bipolar Sunshine's first EP, Aesthetics. Oh, and just as a bonus, if you sign up to Bipolar Sunshine's mailing list, you can download his track "Blossom" for free!
