Minneapolis natives now Brooklyn residents Jessica Corazza and Patrick Morrisssey, better known as the tribal pop duo Manicanparty, are gearing up to release their debut self-tilted EP on October 22nd. Today, however, they are luring us in with “It’s In Her Eyes,” taken off the forthcoming EP. Originally high school classmates, the pair bonded over a mutual appreciation for uplifting tribal sounds, which reflects in their current musical soundscapes. With an appreciation for both classic and modern, think Paul Simon and Ellie Goulding, the duo create captivating electro-pop spiked with soaring vocals and stunning tribal rhythms. “It’s In Her Eyes” is the perfect combination of a driving tribal rhythm and acoustic instrumentation that ebbs and flows over Corazza’s tastefully cut ethereal vocals.
