UK emcee Confz is back with a new track, this time with a slightly more soulful side. Having previously featured on EARMILK with his remix of the Joey Bada$$ banger "Underground Airplay", the London born rapper has teamed up with the soulful Aalvin for his new song "Grinding". Originally from New York, Aalvin currently resides in London, and after a short exchanging of messages after only hearing each other hours earlier, they started working on "Grinding". As Confz recalls, "I hit him up telling him he's sick, then vice versa. The next night we were making this track!". So it's testament to each artists talents that they've managed to create such a deep and soulful track in the short period of time they worked together.

Bill Skeng creates the mellow yet profound instrumental that hints at influences of trap with the shuffling high hats and deep kicks. Confz shows glimpses of his clever wordplay during "Grinding", and Aalvin offers his scintillating vocals on an emotionally charged hook. Confz has built up quite a reputation in the UK for both his style and lyrics, with some of his best work on his Conscience EP. The rest of 2013 should be interesting for the young rapper, as he gears up to release his next mixtape RVST, which sees him collaborating with fellow talented UK producer Distinction.
