Recently written up by The Guardian as "New Band of The Day" for his "celestial grooviness," German producer/singer Marius Lauber, better known as Roosevelt, is making some serious waves with his soothing coastal-sounding dance music. The newly released video for "Elliot", the title track off his debut EP, is a fascinating dream of deserts, oceans and a beautiful girl, presumably Elliot. The video perfectly compliments the molten bass and the flowing synths. Lauber's vocals are delicate and faint, providing a haziness to the glittering kaleidoscopic disco sound.
