Those of you unfamiliar with Ella Yelich-O’Connor, the 16 year old New Zealand artist  know as Lorde, get familiar because she is making waves in a huge way.  Lorde first stormed the airwaves with her chart-topping single “Royals” off her debut EP The Love Club EP which she released for free. Her follow up EP Pure Heroine is set for release on September 30th on Republic Records.

Lorde’s hit track “Royals” gets a trappy touch to it from LA producer Chuck Wild. Coming in at a brisk 98 bpm, Chuck exhibits notable trap percussion while keeping Lorde’s intoxicating vocals intact. Swarming with grimy buckness, this remix is worthy of the high quality the original song boasts. Be sure to cop Pure Heroine on September 30th when it comes out, you can preorder the album here.
