New York-based Tyler Sherritt is the type of dance artist who we find as sort of an anomaly these days. An Alaskan-born musician whose career began in his vocal abilities, his talent has shown itself not only there but in his production and impressive live performances as well. His slightly under the radar persona that's developed into a big name in NYC is now emerging on a grander scale, as seen through his first release on the Garuda imprint, "Petrichord" that's out today. A deeply emotive vocal track layered with grinding electro club house energy and featuring Sherritt's production and vocals, the EP featuring "Petrichord" also includes a booming and uplifting remix that I just can't wait to hear in a peak time live trance set, executed so well by German star Alex M.O.R.P.H.
