The Ambassador of Ableton, the King of Crazy Drops, the Master of Melodic Dubstep. We are talking, of course, about the one and only Lorin Ashton, know by most of the world as Bassnectar. The tastemaker and dance floor destroyer has recently released a special edit of his newest release, "Take You Down", and its weight comes as no surprise to hardcore fans like us.
The tune features his mainstay synth-style dubstep while incorporating some light drum-and-bass breaks, as well as the all-too familiar trap hi-hat/snare riffs. The intro has an almost moombah-style rhythm, and the vocals are paired with the perfect amount of reverb making this tune an all around banger.
