Another day, another Earmilk exclusive, this time in the shape of UK rapper Adian Coker. This isn't the first time the London native has come to our attention, his track "Cream" was featured on here back in June. With his unique style and flow that blends both UK and US hip hop together to create his own individual sound. "Suicide Drive" is the second single from his forthcoming project Young World, which is the follow up to his previous mixtape Fantastic Lights which was heavily praised by the likes of Hypetrak and SBTV. "Suicide Drive" has a very tap feel about it, with a jumpin' beat underneath a horn sample reminiscent of modern day trap music. Adian delivers his lyrics with consummate ease and style.
If "Suicide Drive" and "Cream" are anything to go by, Young World could be Adian Coker's best work to date. Hotly tipped as one of the best hip hop artists to come out of the UK in recent times, it's going to be interesting to see where Adian goes next.
