TV On The Radio has been quietly working on music for the past few months. A few weeks ago, the Brooklyn art rock band released "Mercy", their first single since leaving Interscope Records. They also confirmed that they are working on a follow-up to their 2011 album "Nine Types of Light”. Now they have released a new track titled, "Million Miles, “ and this time they have blessed us with accompanying storytelling visuals.
"Million Miles," has a much different feel than "Mercy." It has a vibe similar to their work on "Nine Types of Light." Bearded guitarist Kyp Malone takes control on vocals while also directing the video along with Natalia Leite. TV On The Radio is known for creating unique, expressive, and abstract music videos and “Million Miles” can certainly be put into that category. Without the creative shackles of their former major label, maybe TV On The Radio can create some of their most interesting work yet.
