What we have here is some fresh milk, of the triple filtered variety; two of the most exciting artists, in their respective fields, come together to exercise their artistic licenses on a young singer’s track that is fast becoming a phenomenon.

Whatever side of the world you’re on, New Zealand’s 16 year old Lorde is making a lot of noise; her track “Royals” has already amassed over 4 million views on Youtube , with her debut E.P The Love Club going to number 1 in both her native New Zealand and Australia as well.

Bangladeshi production wizard RAAK turns his hand to the standout track from her debut E.P and brings in his musical comrade from university, Philly MC Gilbere Forte, to lend his lyrical tenure. Off the back of the absolute banger of an album he released in the form of Pray –also produced by RAAK-  this dynamic duo continues to flourish. Fast gaining momentum, Forte has no reason to be slowing down, so it's just as well that he shows no signs of doing so when he launches a comprehensive demonstration of lyrical ability at the 46 second mark. The Epic/Anigma signee is definitely going to be making waves this year, so don’t take your eyes off of him.

Ultimately, it’s full marks all round. The last time anything was remixed this well by a producer and an MC was Jamie XX and Childish Gambino’s rework of Adele’s “Rolling in The Deep”- if the success of those three is anything to go by, then this trio could all in contention for world domination in the not so distant future.  The track is available to stream below, via. both RAAK and Gilbere Forte’s Soundcloud pages so check each of them out as they will almost certainly be releasing more quality music in the coming months.
