Deniro Ferrar in one independent artist that has really been gaining momentum over the past few years. With his abrasive rap style and his great ear for production he has been able to steadily carve out a lane for himself in the next generation of hip hop artists. Raised in Charlotte, North Carolina, specifically the troubled neighborhood of Tuckaseegee, Deniro has come a long way and reached the ears of a wide range of music listeners. Most notably his connection with the very talented Canadian producer Ryan Hemsworth. The two have worked on a number of songs together with their remix of Grimes's "Genesis" being a key standout. Also working with the Chicago duo Flosstradamus.
His latest offering is a song titled "Feel RIght" produced by the New York based Felix Snow. The melodic voice in the background mixing with synths are easy on the ears. I envisioned a girl slow grinding when I heard it so after seeing the video it's good to know I was on the same page. The EDM influences in Deniro's choice of production has really set him apart from others, it will be interesting to see if he sticks with this approach.
