Lil Silva first exploded on to the scene after a series of releases produced from his Bedford-based studio and now, as a Night Slugs veteran, he drops "No Doubt". The track is just one of many house beats we know him for but this time he's decided to turn the mic on himself. Taking influence from Lil Silva's friend and peer, Sampha, with its breathy vocals and house backing. "No Doubt" touches on futuristic soul, a genre that seems to have growing momentum with producers like Sampha and Kaytranada at the forefront of it all. Starting off slow with a simple house beat and Lil Silva's vocals, this one builds and builds to uncover a deep, elastic house beat in its mid section. Lil Silva is joined on this one by newcomer, Rosie Lowe, who adds vocals alongside the curator's own which results in a unique duet.
The Distance EP is due out on August 5th and will be released by The Good Years label.
