The last post we published on J.Viewz was over five months ago, so we thought it was a good idea to get you up to speed on everything J.Viewz. This Brooklyn producer/remixer (named Jonathan Dagan) stole our hearts with his release of his second full-length album titled Rivers and Homes, back in September 2011.
"Far Too Close" was featured on that album, but has now been re-released as a 2013 edit (just this past Monday). It's been re-vamped into an even more stunning electro pop track with enhanced synth progression and use of sci-fi yet jazzy elements (Daft Punk, anyone?) Dagan's second look at "Far Too Close" proves his ability to critically reconstruct not just others material (such as Walk The Moon's "Tightrope"), but his own in full confidence.
A music video (directed by Yotam Guendelman and produced by EGG) was also released alongside the track, which quite obviously acts as an almost-tribute to a wonderful mix between Back To The Future, Footloose and a dash of Phil Collins.
