Ricky Hil – “Sarah’s Song” [Video]

Ricky Hil released a new video from his Warner Records album S.Y.L.D.D that he leaked for a free download earlier this year. The project received good reviews from fans and silenced some of Ricky's naysayers. "Sarah's song" was one of my favorites from the project a lot in part to the 70's blues sound instrumental. The video is directed by Lamar C. Taylor– a member of The Weeknd's XO crew. The whole video is shot in front of a large mirror with Ricky rapping and The Weeknd in and out of view. Later in the visuals, a female seems to come up from her knees with a caption that reads "Not Sarah". Ricky's slowed emotional rap style fits really well with his friend The Weeknd so it will be interesting to see if they work together more in the future and if Ricky will stick to this flow for the duration of his career.
